CME Welcomes New Manager – Workplace Health & Safety

The Chamber of Minerals and Energy of Western Australia (CME) is pleased to announce the appointment of Adrienne LaBombard to the position of Manager – Workplace Health and Safety.

Acting CME Chief Executive Nicole Roocke welcomed the appointment.

Over the past 18 months Adrienne has been a Policy Advisor in the Environment portfolio at CME.

“Adrienne has demonstrated a strong understanding of the challenges facing companies in the mining sector.  Her direct experience working with our members on complex and varied policy areas, such as climate change policy and approvals reform will ensure a smooth transition to the Workplace Health and Safety portfolio.

Prior to working with CME, Adrienne worked with the Strategic Policy team at the Department of Premier and Cabinet in Western Australia.

“Adrienne’s resources sector knowledge, together with her advocacy skills and public policy experience will be welcomed by CME members,” said Ms Roocke.

Adrienne commenced her new position with CME on Thursday 2 January.
