New North West Regional Officer finding her feet

CME’s North West Regional Officer Megan Brouwer has been settling into the role over the past couple of months. Megan has recently moved into an office space in Port Hedland located at The WEB Business Hub on Edgar street. The WEB is a purpose-built, collaborative co-working space and offers meeting rooms and a large collaborative working room, ideal for member meetings and possibly Pilbara Regional Council Meetings in the future.

January has been a busy month of meetings, with both Pilbara Regional Council and Kimberley Regional Council members, and hearing about the various issues that are collectively experienced by members (such as De Grey Mining, pictured in the above photo).  Planning is now underway for the first 2022 Pilbara Regional Council meeting, scheduled to take place on 17 March in Port Hedland.

CME has called for nominations from member companies to participate in upcoming Community Response Working Groups, which will focus on supporting the community as COVID-19 infections across the State increase and begin to impact the regions. For more information about the North West Community Response Working Group, please contact Megan at m.brouwer@cmewa.com or on 0484 114 606.
