Committee
The Land Access Committee is tasked with leading policy development on such issues as exploration, project approvals, heritage and native title, and land use arrangements.
The Land Access Committee is chaired by Mr Al Coutts of Xstrata Nickel.
The Native Title and Aboriginal Heritage Working Group is tasked with developing a CME policy position on native title and Aboriginal heritage. The Working Group will report to the Land Access Committee on issues relating to native title and Aboriginal heritage.
CME is represented by the Chair of Land Access on the Department of Mines and Petroleum Mining Industry Liaison Committee (MILC).
