The Chamber of Minerals and Energy of Western Australia is proud to present the Safety and Health Innovation Awards 2012.
The Awards are the WA resources industry peak safety innovations accolade. The Awards recognise creativity and ingenuity in improving the workplace, and aim to promote their application across the WA minerals and resources industry.
Objective
The Chamber of Minerals and Energy of Western Australia (CME)’s Safety and Health
Innovation Awards is the peak industry safety innovations accolade. The Awards recognise creativity and ingenuity in improving the workplace, and aims to promote their application across the Western Australian minerals and resources industry.
Entry
Entry is open to all Western Australian minerals and resource companies and/or sites (metalliferous,
coal, quarries, exploration, oil and gas etc) including contractors associated with the Western Australian resources industry. Companies are not limited in the number of entries they can submit.
Award Categories
Entries to the Safety and Health Innovation Awards in 2012 can be submitted into ONE of the following 3 categories:
1. PEOPLE
Safety and health innovations which relate to existing personnel, new personnel and/or
organisational changes.
2. SYSTEMS
Innovative implementation and/or design of systems or procedures which impact on safety and health.
3. ENGINEERING
Maintenance, engineering, operational or infrastructure changes which enhance health and safety.
The 2012 Awards have now closed.
