Minerals Institute of Western Australia

Vision

The purpose of the Minerals Institute is to provide an environment for collaboration and change within the university and Vocational Education Training arena to ensure the ongoing success and viability of minerals education within Western Australia.

It will also ensure industry is aware and supportive of the pivotal role it plays in education, attraction and retention of its workforce and encouraged to actively market to targeted sections of the community.

An ancillary role of the Minerals Institute is to provide awareness of minerals research and development. The Institute will provide the pivotal link between education and industry research and development initiatives.
