DANIELLE BANCROFT - FINALIST PROFILE

Danni Bancroft, or more affectionately known as "Bangas", has been a very strong advocate for Women in Resources in many facets of the WA resources sector, for the last 10 years. She has held various successful roles in the blue collar sector of mining and at 34, Danni has worked in gold, diamonds and iron ore from the Eastern Goldfields, through to the Pilbara and Kimberley regions of WA. She is currently a process technician with Fortescue Metals Group.

In this industry Danni has set the highest work standards, for both men and women, gained respect working closely with a predominately male team, integrated different races, sexes, and cultures through many social events, while adding the much needed female touch. On top of working a continuous shift work and FIFO roster, she has successfully created her own booming small business "Banga's Beef Jerky", servicing mine sites and other establishments in various parts of WA.

In her workplace and the community Danni's family values, integrity, enthusiasm and sheer determination make her a top role model to Women in Resources.
