Damian Callachor joined CME as Director in May 2010.
Damian oversees the Infrastructure and Economics, North West, South West, Eastern, North Eastern and Mid West regional portfolios as well as Membership, Marketing and Public Affairs.
Damian has extensive experience from working within government on policy development at both federal and state levels. Having held various roles in the offices of several federal government Ministers, Damian has worked as a policy adviser in a range of senior portfolios, including Trade; Transport and Regional Services; and Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry.
Prior to joining the CME, Damian was a senior policy adviser in the WA Liberal-National Government to the Treasurer and Ministers for Transport, Water and Mental Health.
Damian has experience in policy matters relating to treasury, port and maritime regulation and infrastructure, public transport, national transport initiatives, aviation, and water resource management.
